Make sure that channel is not occupied any radio station Push the silver button in the front of the unit to turn it on. A red light will go on to indicate that your unit is on. Then simply place the call. When you finish phone calls, it is recommended that you turn off your unit. This will greatly increase the life of the battery. Trouble Shooting If you or the person you are calling hear an echo, simply decrease the volume of your radio. If you are experiencing a weak transmission signal or poor reception, simply move your unit to another position within 3 feet of your radio. Moving this radio handsfree slightly can enhance its performance. If the radio handsfree's light does not come on when the "on" button is pushed, it is most likely the result of a low or "dead" battery. To replace the battery, remove the clip in the rear of the unit. Replace the old battery with a new 2032 battery cell and put the clip back to its original position. The battery has a standby time of 30 days and talk time of approximately 10 hours.
