Trouble Shooting If you or the person you are calling hear an echo, simply decrease the volume of your radio. If you are experiencing a weak transmission signal or poor reception, simply move your unit to another position within 3 feet of your radio. If the radio handsfree's light does not come on when the "on" button is pushed, it is most likely the result of a low or "dead" battery. To replace the battery, remove the clip in the rear of the unit. Replace the old battery with a new 2032 battery cell and put the clip back to its original position. The battery has a standby time of 30 days and talk time of approximately 10 hours.
